2. AN EOU MAY IMPORT AND/OR PROCURE FROM D.T.A. OR BONDED WAREHOUSES IN DTA ETC.WITHOUT PAYMENT OF DUTY ALL TYPES OF GOODS INCLUDING CAPITAL GOODS REQUIRED FOR ITS PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES,PROVIDED THEY ARE NOT PROHIBITED ITEMS.

3. An Eou Can Procure Capital Goods On Lease Agreement Also Without Payment Of Any Duty.

4. An Eou Can Source Second Hand Capital Goods Without Any Age Limit And Import Duty On It.

5. On Approval Of An Eou, The Development Commissioner Issues L.O.P/Loi And It Is Valid For 3years From The Date Of Issue For Commencement Of Production. After Commencement Of Production L.O.P.Issued Shall Be Valid For 5 Years.

6. A Minimum Investment Criteria Has Been Fixed For An Eou. It Is Minimum 1crore Investment In Plant And Machinery Shall Be Considerd For 100%E.O.U.Licence.

7. An Eou Is Entitled To Sale Its Production In Domestic Tariff Area On Payment Of Applicable Duty. The Dta Sale Permission Shall Be Granted To Unit By The Dev.Commnr.,Being 50% Of His Physical Export(Fob Basis) On Qtrly/Hajf Yerly/Yearly Basis Subject To Fulfilment Of Positive N.F.E.

8. Scrap/Waste Is Also Permittet To Sale In Dta On Payment Of Applicable Duty With Prior Intimation To The Concerned Custom Authority.

9. An Eou Can Also Sale Its Products To Other Eou/Ehtp/Stp/Btp/Sez Units Without Payment Of Duty.

10. An Eou Is Also Entitled For Deemed Export And It Shall Be Considered For Nfe Also. Like-

  • Holder Of Advance Licence/Epcg Scheme Etc.

  • On Receipt Of Payment In Foreign Currency/Eefc A/C.

  • To Those Organisations Who Are Entitled To Import Duty Free And Generl Exemption Notions Issued By The Ministry Of Finance, Etc.

11. To Export Its Products Throgh Merchant-Exporter Provided Goods Are Directly Shipped To Port Of Shipment.This Will Also Be Considered As Physical Export For Dta Sale Permission.

12. An Eou Procuring Material From Dta Shall Be Regarded Deemed Export For Dta Unit And Dta Unit Shall Be Entitled For Duty Draw Back As Per Chapter 8 Of The Policy.
