Designation Deputy Manager-Foundry Engineering –(Brass)
Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Facilitate and coordinate NPD/CPD Die requirement by maximize use of concurrent engineering practices to shorten project timelines. 2. Feasibility study / Print Process Review on the new design / concepts from foundry prospective. 3. Establishing process parameters for Core Shooter, LPDC, GDC of Brass and HPDC for Zinc. 4. Participate & drive in DFMEA & PFMEA’s, sample Testing, Pilot lot build, verification & PPAP. 5. Ensure and implement best practices in foundry. 6. Provide technical support for engineering on die debugging of core box, GDC & HPDC Dies for NPD/CPD 7. Prove-out of new dies and establishing RTY for mass production for new product. 8. Provide support for installation and commissioning of new core shooter machine, GDC, LPDC and HPDC machine for Zinc. 9. Participate in training and projects to create and maintain continuous improvements in products, processes, and quality to maintain and reduce waste and cost. 10. Work closely with all departments and floor personnel. Requirements (1) Candidate should be B.E. (Mechanical/foundry) with 8-10 years of experience or Diploma (Mechanical) with 12-15 years of experience (2) Through knowledge of Brass and Zinc manufacturing process (3) Strong analytical skills and Knowledge of problem solving techniques (4) Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, shot monitoring program and current manufacturing system. (5) Training and relevant industry/product experience..
