Dependability Engineer
Job Description

Plan and perform dependability studies for customer projects and for internal Inteva projects according to the project requirements and to the applicable methodology and with the schedule constraints of the project.

Contribute to the definition and to the maintenance of the electronic system dependability process including: 

process, work instructions, templates, complete associated tooling for compliance to the higher level process defined by the process group i.e.: PDP, A-SPICE, ISO-TS, ISO26262, other and for compliance to other methodological requirements defined by the management (monitoring mainly). This methodology might need some occasional analysis with other perimeters systems Inteva departments like Motors, Window regulators, roof and/or latches.

Perform and maintain dependability studies for the "components" of the electronic system standard architecture, according to the defined and applicable methodology and with a main goal of reusability in the projects for customers.

 Contribute to Requests For Quotations (RFQ) for electronic system dependability perimeter including:
 -the dependability requirements analysis

 -the dependability activity workload estimations according to functions and process analysis.

 -Perform and maintain training supports of electronic dependability process and toolst.

Bachelor‘s or Master‘s degree in E & C Engineering, E & E Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent.

Experience:7 to 10 yrs

Proficiency in automotive embedded system development.

Mandatory to have ECU system engineering experience in any of the automotive domain.

Experience of ECU system engineering in any of the automotive products like window regulator, Window Latches, Sunroof, Door Modules, BCM, or Instrument Cluster is an added advantage.

Understanding of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Test & Verification Engineering, Validation Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering.

Deep knowledge of understanding of ISO 26262. "Road vehicles - Functional safety" and its methodologies.

Knowledge of safety analysis methods e.g. FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, DFA.

Experience of requirements specification (MS-office, UML, SysML) and management, traceability, Predictive reliability (FTA).

Ability to perform HARA (Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment, FSC (Functional Safety Concept), TSC (Technical Safety Concept).

 Experience of embedded system project management.
