Job Description
Floats enquiries to perspective bidders with detailed terms and conditions and expected delays.
Coordinates with Projects department for their requirements at various project sites.
Analyzes quotes from outsourcing agencies for maintenance of some sites and awards the contract to the agency offering most competitive prices.
Informs Accounts department to application of appropriate clauses in the contract onto deviations.
Prepares database of equipment suppliers for various application area projects.
Fairly good understanding of taxation structures in various sourcing destinations
Prepares response analysis from data and past experiences.
Negotiates for any deviations from the contract.
Assists in final negotiations with vendors.
Prepares the final cost sheet.
Coordination with all the concerned departments on regular basis.
Issues PO to the vendor.
Follows up with vendor on regular basis.
Preparation of comparative statements.
Cost modeling from past data bank.
Technical ability to evaluate offers at the first level.
Knowledge about manufacturing range & QR of vendors.
Managing vendor relationship at senior level.
