Gas Demand & Supply Management:
Formulate strategy for supply to the bulk markets, and obtains validation from top management.
Negotiate the commercial terms of the contract.
Industrial Sales :
Approve business plan, and monitor its implementation to ensure a robust volume growth in
Ensure all contracting terms and condition and ensure the same is in favour of the corporation.
Ensure closure of sales with the flow of gas connection for every customer.
Support commercial team to ensure the right pricing, schemes, product changes for the industrial customers.
New Business Development :
Study emerging developments in the business environment so as to identify new projects and business opportunities to be explored
Review business case for new businesses/ projects in consultation with the concerned department heads. This includes estimating the market size, cost of development, evaluate risk-return and track costs of development for new project introduction
Understand and highlight implications of different external constraints on the growth and expansion plans for the organization from a risk management perspective
Review current business performance; identify avenues for new business initiative / tie-ups / collaborations etc.
Liaise with external Stakeholders :
Liaise with Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and other regulatory authorities through monthly meetings for the purpose of identifying impending regulations and influencing through advocacy.
Prepare plan for influencing regulations through advocacy.
CNG, PNG & Commercial marketing:
Oversee development of customer acquisition plans across the existing and new Charged Areas and support the CA teams in scouting for new customers.
Approve plans for advertisements and promotional messages in PNG drives, newspapers, leaflets, hoardings etc. in line with the business plan.
Client servicing and customer acquisition:
Develop and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures on client servicing and customer complaint redresser.
Reporting & MIS :
Review MIS reports for Budget Variances with reasoning
Review business performance report against yearly business plan on quarterly basis and take corrective actions to achieve desired business target.
Coordinate with HR department to ensure projects department is adequately staffed as per the manpower requirements.
Own and develop high potential talent and create a talent pipeline for the department.
Ensure high level of employee engagement and retention of critical employees.
Instil a performance culture in the organization through driving timely goal setting, monitoring, and performance review.
Facilitate a conducive work environment that ensures high employee engagement levels at the Site.
