Technical Safety Engineer
Is responsible for coordinating engineering activities of design and material requisitioning for an entire facility (whole project or portion of project) up to the scheduled completion, in accordance with QHSES corporate policies, contractual commitments (design data, codes, classes etc), schedule and budget.
Is responsible for critically reviewing interfaces between disciplines and/or project stakeholders.
Is responsible for assisting the project manager with both technical and economical/scheduling aspects of project change orders.
Represents TP towards clients, partners, subcontractors and vendors for technical subjects by reporting information or suggestion to Project Manage.
Ensures technical project execution within time and budget by coordinating and supervising project engineers, engineering resources, and engineering subcontractors.
Manages engineering risks/opportunities, scope and schedule changes, and monitor compliance with QHSES requirements and contract commitments.
Defines engineering coordination procedures, issues the basic data for design and approves general project specifications
Ensures timely approval of engineering and material requisitioning documents from the client as well as timely technical and economical definition of change orders and/or claims.
Contributes to schedule and progress measurement preparation, actively controls schedule execution.
